2024 AABC Annual Meeting Activities

AABC Annual Golf Tournament

Located on the majestic property of the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort & Spa, The Golf Club features a par-72 course nestled amidst the luscious countryside and the Lower Colorado River offering a variety of tee boxes to suit all levels from beginner to skilled.

Get Acquainted Reception

Greet old friends and make new ones at the annual welcome reception. Meet the Lost Pine Longhorn and get your caricature drawn. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and great conversation.  Don’t forget to pick up your 2 drink tickets at Registration.

AABC Picnic

Along with outside yard games, come learn to line dance.  Thursday’s Picnic includes a dinner buffet with hot dogs, burgers, and chicken sandwiches, along with beer and wine.

Tomahawk and Archery

Test your hand-eye coordination with tomahawk and archery lessons! Each participant will learn the fundamentals of these time-honored sports from experienced staff and then practice shooting arrows or throwing tomahawks at set targets. These activities are run simultaneously so that participants don’t have to wait for an available spot. Embrace your medieval side!

  • Clothing: Closed-toe shoes required

Trap Shooting

Set your sights on a true Texas tradition — trap shooting! A range of shotguns are available to help everyone from novices to experts take out clays from competition-style trap machines. Staff will provide instructions and safety information while you test your marksmanship skills. Each attendee is provided with one box of shells and a shotgun. Enjoy the outdoors and test your skills, Texan style!

Annual Closing Celebration

Join us for the final event with a cocktail reception, dinner, and live music, providing a perfect opportunity to relax and celebrate. Use the photo booth to capture memories with friends, new and old.

Resistance Band Class

Touted as one of the best types of exercise for the body, resistance training is low-impact and gentle on the joints. Utilizing elastic bands, the class is suitable for all fitness levels and begins with a warm-up to prepare the body, followed by a series of resistance band exercises, and ends with a cool-down and stretching session to enhance flexibility and prevent injury.

  • Suggested Drawing Specification

    An independent Testing and Balancing Agency certified by the AABC shall be engaged to Test and Balance the HVAC systems. Systems shall be balanced to plus/minus 10% of design requirements. The contractor shall place all systems and equipment into full operation for Testing and Balancing. One copy of the final Test and Balance report with the AABC National Performance Guaranty shall be sent directly to the engineer of record. Provide five (5) additional copies to the contractor.
