  • 2016 – AABC was accredited as a Standards Developer by ANSI, allowing them to publish the 7th edition of the National Standards for Total System Balance as an official American National Standard.
  • 2017 – AABC published the revised Technician Training Manual, with new and updated content. This manual serves as a valuable resource for TBEs and TBTs. In conjunction with CxEnergy 2017, AABC hosted the first TAB Seminar session as a pre-conference educational offering for AABC members.
  • 2018 – The updated TBE exam launched…
  • 2019 – AABC launched a new member portal to provide easier access to membership resources such as certification information, publications, and dues payment.
  • 2020 – The COVID-19 pandemic proved challenging, leading to a virtual annual meeting and creative ways of keeping members involved, such as a new opportunity to earn LUs by reading TAB Journal and taking a quiz.
  • 2021 – The AABC Hall of Fame started, with George Ebert as the first modern inductee and historical nominees Arnold Pearl, Walter Lipski, and Taylor Kahoe.
