Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) is a cornerstone of the building systems commissioning process, ensuring HVAC systems achieve design intent and operate at peak efficiency. This session draws from the ACG Building Systems Commissioning Guideline to highlight best practices for integrating TAB agencies into commissioning workflows during both design and construction phases. Attendees will learn how commissioning providers (CxPs) and TAB professionals can collaborate to optimize system performance, streamline communication with design and construction teams, and enhance documentation and verification practices. By understanding the essential role of TAB in system balanceability, diagnostics, and controls integration, participants will gain actionable strategies to improve project outcomes, owner satisfaction, and long-term system performance.
