Please join us in celebrating the newly certified TBE who joined us in July & August!

All AABC member agencies must have at least one certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) on staff. The TBE is ultimately responsible for overseeing technical operations of the company; reviewing and certifying test and balance reports; and providing supervision and training of technicians.

We’re calling on all independent TAB firms (no affiliations with contractors, design engineers, or manufacturers) with a commitment to integrity to certify their services with the oldest and most respected testing, adjusting, and balancing association in the industry. Learn more here.

Suggested Drawing Specification

An independent Testing and Balancing Agency certified by the AABC shall be engaged to Test and Balance the HVAC systems. Systems shall be balanced to plus/minus 10% of design requirements. The contractor shall place all systems and equipment into full operation for Testing and Balancing. One copy of the final Test and Balance report with the AABC National Performance Guaranty shall be sent directly to the engineer of record. Provide five (5) additional copies to the contractor.
